Special Guests at past Expo’s
- In 2007 ABC Radio 891 with Ashley Walsh broadcast the Sunday morning show live from the Expo. This included the ‘Gardening Talk Back Show’ with Malcolm Campbell.
- In 2008, South Australian of the Year, Mike Bossley awarded the inaugural Mike & Claire Bossley Prize to an Adelaide Hills Primary School for achievement in the Hills Sustainability School Projects.
- In 2009, Peter Goers, ABC 891 Evening Show host and columnist opened the Expo and entertained the crowd with his witty banter!
- In 2010, Michael Keelan, radio and TV presenter and gardening identity opened the Expo and then spent time on the Plant identification stall.

- Trevor Nottle, author and world authority on gardening, landscape and horticulture in Mediterranean climatic regions of the world. Trevor has written many books including “Gardens in the Sun”, “Plants for Mediterranean Climate Gardens” and “The New Cottage Garden”.
- Tim Marshall, frequent contributor to radio, newspapers and magazines on all things organic. Tim wrote the definitive book on garden composting ‘Recycle your Garden’.
- Professor Andrew Lowe, Professor of Plant Conservation Biology and Director of the Australian Centre for Evolutionary Biology and Biodiversity, at the University of Adelaide and Head of Science, State Herbarium for South Australia
